Size Questions
Common questions about measuring, fit, and choosing the right size.
1. How should I measure my bust, waist, and hips?
Measure your bust around the fullest part and keep the tape level across your back. Measure your waist around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape level and close to the body without pulling it tight.
2. What is Hollow to Floor?
Stand straight and barefoot. Measure vertically from the hollow at the base of the front neck to the floor. Do not add heel height unless a product or custom-order form specifically asks for extra length.
3. My measurements match different sizes. Which size should I choose?
Choose the size that accommodates the largest area required by the silhouette. Fitted and mermaid styles require special attention to the hips; A-line and ball-gown styles usually rely more on the bust and waist. Contact us before ordering if the difference is significant.
4. Should I size down for stretch fabric?
No, not automatically. Use your actual body measurements unless the individual product page specifically recommends a different fit.
5. Is custom sizing available?
Custom sizing or limited adjustments may be available for selected products. Availability, required measurements, price, production time, and return eligibility must be confirmed on the product page or in writing before ordering. Custom-made items are generally not eligible for standard returns.
6. Can the dress be altered after delivery?
Many dresses can be hemmed or taken in by a professional tailor, but beading, lace placement, boning, and seam structure may limit alterations. Altered, washed, or worn items are generally not eligible for standard returns; refer to the published returns policy.
7. Does the chart show body or garment measurements?
It shows body measurements. Finished garments include ease according to the fabric, silhouette, and intended fit. Do not compare a flat garment measurement directly with this body-size chart.
